What factors can cause motor overheating

When the motor overheats, it may affect its performance, life and even damage the equipment. 1.Excessive load
Excessive load is one of the common causes of motor overheating. When a motor is subjected to a load that exceeds its rated load capacity, it will cause excessive heat to be generated when the motor is running. This can be due to poor equipment design, sudden increase in load or unbalanced load. 2. High ambient temperature
